This contemporary chunky reclaimed wood floating shelf is created for all our customers who love the idea of relaxed coastal living. Features a unique decorative textured edging along the front and sides to enhance this nautical finish. Creates useful storage space to display and store your treasured items and holiday beach finds. Individually hand stained in a VOC free water soluble light French grey wood stain and finished with an eco friendly clear wax to bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain. All my work reflects genuine craftsmanship alongside sustainable choice for those who care about the future of our environment.

This is a wall mounted floating shelf so you cannot see any fixings. Holes are drilled into the back of your shelf and the concealed metal fixings are supplied so it's all ready to put up on arrival. The supplied fittings are suitable for solid masonry walls and can also be screwed directly into the timber joists of a stud wall. For plasterboard /cavity dry walls you will need to purchase butterfly toggle anchor fittings/molly plugs. These will anchor your floating shelves to the inside of the plasterboard. A stud finder can also be used to find your wall studs for fixing your shelves too. If you wish to drill your own holes into the back of your shelf to correspond with your studs just let me know.
