Add coastal cottage character and charm to your home with this multi coloured boat wood style edged shelf.  I'm passionate about creating high quality, unique and sustainable wood furniture. All my work is individually handcrafted. Unique to each buyer because they are carefully handmade with attention to detail in my Derbyshire studio and not mass produced.

Both functional and decorative, this distinctive and characterful floating shelf features a unique decorative textured edging along the front and sides to enhance the coastal  feel.  Hand Painted in our multi coloured old boat wood effect finish, a lovely rainbow wash of turquoises, reds and greens. Protected with an eco friendly clear satin varnish.

Creates useful storage space to display and store your treasured items. Individually hand stained in a warm medium or light oak and finished with a quality antique wax to bring out the beauty of the wood grain. My decorative and professional finishes make us stand out from the crowd and provides our customers with a handmade unique custom purchase. My work has been featured in 'The World of Interiors' magazine, Waste Not, Want Not, up cycling feature and in their special tables feature.

This is a wall mounted floating shelf so you cannot see any fixings. Holes are drilled into the back of your shelf and the concealed metal fixings are supplied so it's all ready to put up on arrival. The supplied fittings are suitable for solid masonry walls and can also be screwed directly into the timber joists of a stud wall. For plasterboard /cavity dry walls you will need to purchase butterfly toggle anchor fittings/molly plugs. These will anchor your floating shelves to the inside of the plasterboard. A stud finder can also be used to find your wall studs for fixing your shelves too. If you wish to drill your own holes into the back of your shelf to correspond with your studs just let me know.
